Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines the application of creams, oils and lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.

  Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aides in relieving tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial for client comfort. Please keep in mind that soreness is common after the treatment, and it is suggested that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released during a deep tissue massage.

Hot Stone Massage
Hot Stone Massage is a type of bodywork that uses deep penetrating heat from specialized stones. Hot Stone Therapy delivers a comfortable application of deep heat in a comfortable manner to stimulate your circulatory system, improving the function of your lymphatic and immune systems, and enhancing your body’s self-healing mechanisms. This style of bodywork takes you into deep states of relaxation, releasing stress and anxiety, detoxifying the body, and balancing your nervous system.

Ear Candling
This  service consists of a face, neck and shoulder massage followed by ear candling.  Ear Candling (or “Ear Coning”) is a 3,500 year-old holistic healing method believed to have been practiced by the ancient Egyptians.  It involves placing a long wax cone in the ear and lighting the end of the stick farthest from the head.  Candles are made of a cotton muslin cloth dipped in 100% beeswax.  The lit candle creates the phenomenon known as convection, which causes the softer ear wax to be drawn up into the base of the candle.  It is believed the softer waxes can contain trapped allergens, molds, yeasts and bacteria, which is removed during this process.   Great for headaches, sinus pressure and allergies!
